How to see Triangle of Sadness ft. Filmstaden

How to see Triangle of Sadness ft. Filmstaden

Somebody get me Ruben Ostlund´s number! This wish hits me harder while I was way into the movie “Triangle of Sadness” and then popped an entire layer about having a disability that I have been meaning to convey for the longest time. I just want to thank him for that and then congratulate him on another brilliant movie after, The Square.

There is money, power, fun, and puke. Reminds me of the world we live in. To see Triangle of Sadness, leave the popcorn out. Be prepared to see the layers of human nature in movies. B. But what to do when the bullshit is so relatable even though you have never been on a cruise this fancy.

This film has many layers of power, greed, and pure human nature. But be challenged to pick the layer that suits you well and that would become your lens to see it through the entire cinematic journey.  Every character, dialogue, gesture, and soundtrack would open up a thought bubble over your head and would force you to think. Because you have been there.

My lens for the film was that of inequality and particularly that of disability. Ostlund´s understanding of the disadvantage of having a disability hits the bull. It made me fidget in my chair and then sit up straight as I wanted to be sure of what I am watching on screen is what it is. Oslund reminded me of many people who say and have told me that to have a disability can lead to riches. Well, wait till you become part of a shipwreck.

There is drama, romance, Instagram and then there is Dolly De Leon. Dolly single handed delivers a Leadership crash course to all women, men, and those who feel inadequate due to their color, creed, caste, and other racist stereotypes that have created inequality in this world to a tragic extent.

This film must be watched by all. To see the cruise from the window of the world but then suddenly there is no window and man meets the wilderness. His greed meets his helplessness and his pride meets reality.
